I'm having a whirlwind of a week. I'll have posts every day through Friday, but don't expect a lot this week.
First of all, I have a winner to my contest. Congratulations to Erica B! Erica entered multiple times, and her comment about her swinger chiropractor was the actual entry to win. The local store where I buy most of my gift cards was out of stock on Visa cards, so Erica will be getting a $25 American Express gift card instead of a $20 Visa card. Erica, please email me at TwentyFourAtHeart@yahoo.com with your mailing address so I can get your card out in the mail to you. Congratulations again!
As a reminder, my 24th birthday celebration will be coming up shortly. I will have more contests then to celebrate. Please note, Erica took the time to enter the current contest NINE times. If I have a contest where you're allowed more than one entry, go for it! It increases your odds of winning. Stay tuned for details on celebrating my 24th!
Other very random randomness:
One of the reasons why I have very little writing time this week is because I have a total of FIVE medical appointments this week for my arm and shoulder. In addition, I've spent eons of time the past few days on the phone with my lawyer regarding the accident related lawsuit.
Awhile ago I got an email from a reader who is involved in the medical field wanting details as to exactly what's wrong with my arm. It would take pages and pages to explain it all. In short, I was gripping the steering wheel with my right arm when Idiot ran the stop sign and hit me. Things ruptured in my shoulder from the impact. You name a part of the shoulder (ligament, tendon, muscle, rotator cuff, cartilage, bone, shoulder capsule, etc.) and I either no longer have it, or it has been surgically altered. That's as quick of a recap as I can provide. I am in a much better place than I was a year ago and thank God for that. I appreciate the interest and concern!
As for the lawsuit, the case has settled. It is a tremendous weight off my shoulders to have that behind me. There will be months of bureaucracy ahead, but eventually I should be able to pay all my overdue medical bills. That would include paying The Torturer who has kindly treated me for over two years with no compensation. Yeah, I know I bitch about him all the time. He deserves it. He has, however, been extremely kind about taking all my abuse while never receiving a penny from me. Go figure.
Other unrelated random randomness:
I've run into three Money Town female acquaintances in the last two weeks with new fake boobs. This would not even be worth mentioning, but all three women are mid-forties or older. Usually it's the 20-30 year old Money Town women getting new boobs. Maybe they are going through a mid-life crisis, or maybe their husbands are? It seemed a little odd to me. It's like a mid-life new boob-fest.
There's a new male patient at PT who's been trying to pick up on me. He's a Money Town man (he even smells like money!) and I have yet to peg him with a nickname. He's pretty fit, doesn't wear a wedding ring, but I do! I'm hoping he'll be good for a few fun blog posts soon! Either that or he'll have another one or two conversations with me, realize what I'm really like, and quickly disappear.
That's it for today. Sorry it's so random, but it's that kind of week. Congratulations again to Erica!
