Are you ready for fun? Are you ready to laugh? To smile? To enjoy a funny, exciting, tempting, and somewhat naughty contest? Make sure to join me tomorrow for the best contest I've ever hosted!
The weekend in Santa Barbara could not have been more beautiful. When I left to return home on Sunday afternoon the temperature was 77 degrees farenheit (25 C). Here's a picture of Stearn's Wharf.
And here are a few beach shots for you.
Beautiful, isn't it? That's Santa Rosa Island you see on the horizon. It's one of California's Channel Islands.
Have I mentioned how much I love Santa Barbara?
When you're out on the pier, you look back at the town and it looks like this:

I had a great time visiting with friends. I always go up there expecting to get a lot of reading and writing done. I should know better by now. Instead I get a lot of beach time, friend time, exercise (lots and lots of walking), and … um, maybe a little wining and dining too. On this trip I "discovered" the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to. It was a lot of fun.
Sigh … I came home to an overflowing laundry room and a list of to-do's that could stretch to another county. First and foremost, I'm finalizing details for tomorrow's awesome contest! I can't wait!
In the meantime, here's a sunset photo of Stearn's Wharf in Santa Barbara.
