** This is a little embarrassing but I've been asked to make this information public. Twenty Four At Heart has been nominated as Orange County's Favorite Local Blog. I guess I was supposed to get the word out awhile ago, but I've been busy vacationing. If you're so inclined, you can vote for 24 here. Voting ends today. I think you're allowed to vote multiple times (?). You will find Twenty Four At Heart listed under the category Fav Local Blog on the left sidebar. I am absolutely floored to have even been nominated for this type of award. To all of you who take the time to vote, I send many hugs of gratitude. **
When I get back to Orange County I plan to write about Well Endowed Men. It's a subject that needs my attention.
Don't you think?
Also, all the pictures of pretty beaches and palm trees are getting a little boring.
Yesterday, I heard from a physical therapist friend (not The Torturer). He said, "Jet skis? Really? With your arm? What the hell were you thinking?"
He was also of the opinion my doctor would flip out on me if he heard I'd gone jet skiing.
"I was thinking about having FUN."
So okay, chalk it up to another activity (like zip lining) that I've been told I'm not able to do … but I did it anyway.
Good for me!
And yes, my arm still hurts worse than hell. My doctor is on vacation so I guess I'll be working through the next few days on my own. Sigh.
A morning of fun, a week (or so) of paying for it.
Reality is such a bitch sometimes.
It was worth it.
After a relaxing (but very rainy) last morning on Maui, we headed for the airport in the afternoon. Felicia caused it to pour the entire drive. Day #11 was a travel day and with the time difference in California, it will be late at night before we arrive home to Orange County. It was a wonderful vacation and a great eleven days in Hawaii.
