TGIF

Thank you for letting me have my bitchfest yesterday.  I had no idea my post would create such an uproar.  The feedback, both positive and negative, was astounding.   To be honest, the positive far outweighed the negative.

It's been a long week.  I'm looking forward to the weekend.  Yesterday I shared what I don't like about Orange County.  I thought I'd end the week on a brighter note and share with you a glimpse of what I love here.

There is a reason, after all, why it's called Orange County.

I love our outdoor malls.  Some of them look more like amusement parks than malls.  I've been at the top of that ferris wheel in December and gotten sunburned riding it.

Coast
The coastline in Laguna eases my stress year round.

I don't really need words for the picture of the Huntington Beach pier, do I?  Sunset at the beach is my favorite time of day.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Awww, see how easy it is to say nice things? I knew you had it in ya… lmao
Have a great week-end at one of those malls, at that beach, or heck… just eating an orange for that matter!

I’m with Alan on this one, for sure.
Oh, the vapid OC women got their knickers in a twist when you called them out, did they? I’ll have to go look over the comments; I totally need something to roll my eyes at today.

Oooh, you make me miss the OC so much, I saw the spectrum last time I was there. and oh my goodness that thing has changed. Last time I was there they had just finished the addition with the ferris wheel. It’s awesome now. (used to work at a kiosk in 97) I miss Laguna too. Used to live off El Toro Rd by the canyon rd, took about 5-10 mins to get to the beach. I am now 3hrs away from the beach. 🙁
I love your post yesterday, still have to go read the comment to it. Keep it up.
Oh, and I used to live there when I was little. Remember when it was ALL orange groves and little bit of houses….man the smell in the AM was great!

Beautiful shots! I love your eye for photography. You really know how to catch the essence of the OC life at its finest! I miss those stunning seascapes from when we lived in Monterey. So pretty there too.

So beautiful. Brings back memories of going to kindergarten at Bonita Canyon in Turtle Rock! We used to go to Laguna all the time. I would make sandcastles for hours and cry when my bathing suit got filled with sand. Which is the beach with all the fire pits? I have such great memories of living there and visiting my childhood friends several times as a teen.
