So Ready For The Weekend!

My weekend began a day early.  Yesterday my oldest son, RC, and I spent the afternoon at the beach.  It was beautiful.  It was fun.  We relaxed and watched the surfers.  It was probably my last time alone with him before he heads back to college early Sunday morning.

I wish he didn't have to leave.

Bet you do hate to see him leave. Look at those big strong arms…. bet he gives his mom wonderful hugs with those! They young bring so much laughter into our lives so it’s hard to let them go…. AND of course as moms we always worry about them.
    He’ll be back.

And I wish I had your warm weather.
Seriously… I am dreading when my youngest heads to college next year.

Oh I wish I could have spent yesterday on the beach. It’s minus three here this afternoon.
I am glad you had a nice day and I am sure it won’t seem five minutes before your son is back again.
I really love you blog and writing style.
    Kindest Regards
    Sandy.

I know, my son left Thurs. I was working late so he had to come by the library to say goodbye. Which is nice, because I got to “show him off,” but it made me so sad to come home and he was gone.
    Enjoy your weekend!

I totally get that. I always hate it when my daughters go back home, two to Louisiana and one just 30 minutes up the road. I live with the fourth/oldest one, so that helps alleviate my worst “missin’ you” blues.
    Hope you are doing well.

Aw. I go back tomorrow. I’m sure he feels just as sad leaving you as you are to see him go.
I live relatively close to home, but money getting tight means there will be less visits unfortunately 🙁

I feel that way when my sister goes back to college…it must be worse for mothers. Enjoy the time that’s left.
