I’m in Heaven

Aliso

The beach is absolutely spectacular this weekend!

The weather has been hot, the ocean temperature is warm (for the Pacific), and the water looks almost tropical in color.

It makes my spirits soar.

This is what makes me (oh, so very!) happy.

Magic water. Many different colors at once. Aqualuscent. That’s what I’m going to call the color of the wave faces. I made it up but it sounds good.

I so want to be there.
But the water is still warm here, and I know I can surf the waves here (I think I’d be a little afraid there, because I don’t know the water), and we still have warm days (over 100 days above 20C so far) this autumn. So I guess I’ll have to go to my water since yours is so far away.
But yours does look amazing. And I like ‘aqualuscent’ – I think that’s a great word and just may have to use it myself, with credit to Stephen of coarse.

Yes, it is gorgeous. Something about the water feels so transformative. Wish I was at the beach this weekend…
