President’s Day Weekend

Today is a holiday in the United States.  I know a lot of you don't live in the U.S., but I'm using it as an excuse to be a little bit lazy.

I had all sorts of interesting things happen over the weekend.  I can't wait to tell you all about them, but I'm going to hold off since I know a lot of people are off playing today and won't be here to visit.

Today, (out of the pure laziness I just mentioned), I'm just going to share a few miscellaneous photos I've taken in the last few days.

In other words, it's just like any other day around here!

Storm clouds – taken with my iPhone.

(By the way, if you're on Instagram my user name is 24atHeart.  I have almost no followers yet, so pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase be my friend!)

The DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles for you non-U.S. people.)  It's sort of like a torture chamber.  Also, did I mention PR now has his official Driver's LEARNING permit?  (Not to be confused with his actual driver's license.)  I feel OLD!  And yes, the DMV photo was ALSO taken with my iPhone … I'm having fun playing with my new toy.

Tulips blooming – possibly my favorite flower.  At least, they seem to be my favorite flower this week.

Very ominous clouds approaching!  This was taken from my backyard.  On the right hand side of the photo you can see the wrought iron spiral staircase which leads up to our deck.

The love note I left for Briefcase.

Don't get me wrong, I've cleaned up a lot of dog barf over the years.  In this case, Briefcase let our golden retriever eat something he shouldn't have so I let him be in charge of clean-up duties.  I'm a loving wife like that!

The snow is a result of the ominous clouds I showed you in a previous photo.

We've had all sorts of craziness with our weather the last few days.  The above photo is of "my" mountain as seen from our backyard on Sunday morning.  I get so excited when our mountains get snow.  They're at a much lower elevation than the Los Angeles (San Gabriel) mountains so it doesn't happen very often.

It’s a holiday? Why am I at WORK???
I adore tulips, too, and yours are simply gorgeous.

As one of those “American Men” you guys roughed up a little the other day……that blue sticky note caused me to shudder in horror. 🙂

As a lurker, you take some beautiful photographs. Tulips are my absoulute favorite.
Not to sound too corny, I read your old blog posts and you are an inspiration to many people. Keep it up!
