So…I am a neophyte photographer and was wondering if you would ever consider listing some basic things on your photo (i.e. camera lens, aperture, f stop, ISO) so I can try and wrap my mind around HOW you took the photo? Case in point – love the above picture, but I suck at inside photos and definitely night-time ones.

I am still struggling mightily when it comes to putting all those components into manual mode. I know I just have to keep practicing and reading my “how-to” books, and hopefully it will all start to make sense. For now I just feel like the slowest learner in the class. I know – patience, but “insight” is not coming as quickly as I would like it to.

I’ve been thinking about doing something like this, Suzanne.
To be honest, I just didn’t want to bore people who aren’t interested in photography. Maybe I can list it as part of a photo’s caption?
Let me think about the best way to do something along these lines …

If someone isn’t into photography they would probably just gloss right over that information. For those of us that would like more information it would be like “gold”. However you do it, would be greatly appreciated.

It could be in the title so it’s visible when your cursor is hovering over the picture.
