I’m here to tell you I’m not here again.
I also want to apologize for my half-ass attempt to blog while on this trip.
I’ve gone to a lot of conferences in my lifetime, but hello … exhaustion.
(Not one free minute!)
I was out of my hotel room at 7 a.m. yesterday and I’m writing this at 12:40 a.m. today.
This conference is different than any I’ve ever gone to.
What I love about it?
• Meeting some awesome people I’ve only known online.
• Seeing some photographer friends I don’t get to see on a day in, day out, basis.
• Picking up “nuggets” of relevant info from both photographers and awesome Google employees.
(Seriously, I love Google people and I mean that very sincerely – nice, intelligent, engaging!)
Yesterday, I got to really be in my “element” for a short while.
A group of us skipped the final conference speaker of the night to go shoot.
We were at the Sutro Baths for sunset.
It was beautiful.
There is no wind as biting as the wind you feel on a bluff, overlooking the ocean, in San Francisco, this time of year.
The night only got colder, and colder.
(A totally separate story!)
I think I got some good shots in spite of the wind, but I haven’t had time to upload them yet.
Today is going to be another nonstop day.
I know you understand, I’ll be back to “normal” blogging soon.
I’ll fill you in as soon as I can!
