I had a shoot in the morning yesterday.
It was in Los Angeles.
At the end of my work time, I had planned to visit an L.A. beach for awhile.
(Long enough to let the worst of the day-end traffic to pass.)
I got sidetracked when I realized I wasn’t far from the Norton Simon Museum.
It’s been on my list of places I want to visit for at least two years.
I’m so glad I was able to stop in for a visit.
The art was amazing.
(Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, Cezanne, Degas … just to name a few.)
It was nice to just get lost in it for awhile.
Peace, solitude, and a visual feast …
It was exactly what I needed.
I only took a handful of photos while I was there.
I just wanted to absorb my surroundings.
As I was leaving, I was struck by the sight of two museum officials.
I’m not sure what position they “really” hold at the museum.
I couldn’t resist raising the camera and taking a shot.
I’m so glad I did, because I love how it came out.
I titled this photo The Curators.

Oh, that’s nice. I think the title is just perfect…
The architecture of the building(s) is awesome! : )
That is my favorite museum ever and I’ve been to tons throughout the US.
It’s beautiful – and an amazing collection.
