Very Pretty (!) Long Exposure Beach Sunset!

My technical problems have been resolved.

As promised, I’m now making this long exposure, beach sunset, photo available for purchase.

It’s unusual to make a long exposure right into the sun like this, but I it has been getting a very favorable response.

It was taken in Laguna and it’s titled:

One Thousand Sunsets

Beautiful picture. Wish I had someplace to hang it.

Was just wondering how come I click on November, 2012 and it pulls up the right day, but always says Archives July, 2012 up above, no matter which month I click on? Doesn’t really matter I guess, since I’m able to get your daily blogs. I was just wondering if you knew that.

I enjoy your great sense of humor and incredible writing skills, not to mention your beautiful photos. Keep up the good work!

These photographs are just amazing, Suzanne.. I mean WOW. The effect you’re getting is just stunning, I’m looking at the images and I can’t even phathom how you’re getting the texure, the rich deep colors, the smoothness.. hard to describe. I need to learn me some “gadgets”…

The “effect” you’re referring to is from making the photo a long exposure. To make a long exposure you just need your camera, a tripod (or steady place to put your camera), and if possible – a cable release. (A cable release is not expensive and may not be necessary depending on your camera.)
