Oh – Orange County!

I’ve been spending a lot of time working on print shipments this week.

That means I haven’t had much time to go through my Arizona photos yet.

I thought I’d share some recent “winter” photos from Orange County with you.

If you live someplace cold, you might appreciate a change of scenery.

This first photo was taken in Laguna Beach from inside a cave.

It’s one of my favorite beach spots.

There’s an old theater in Newport Beach right near Paul Newman’s office.

I’m not sure why (??) but they call it The Newport Beach Big One.

There must be history behind the name?

It makes me laugh, regardless.

I did have fun throwing funky filters on that photo.

Can you think of any reason NOT to have fun playing with photos?

Of course not,

It’s like being given a box of crayons as a kid …

The next photo was taken a few weeks ago.

Sunset after/as a storm tried to clear.

Have I ever mentioned I don’t like cold weather?

I really don’t.

As many of you know, I have a chocolate lab named Mocha.

This ISN’T her ….

I met this lab while walking in San Clemente.

Her “person” was surfing.

I didn’t know who she belonged to at first.

Then I noticed she kept looking out at the ocean.

She was checking on her person.

Once I realized she wasn’t lost and aimlessly wandering the beach, I didn’t worry about her.

She wanted me to throw the driftwood stick she’d found.

Of course, I did.

She’d fetch it over and over again.

Once in awhile she’d stop to check on her surfer/owner.

After assuring herself he was okay, she’d once again drop the stick at my feet.

It was almost as big as she was.

We had fun playing.

I’ve been watching episode after episode of “Breaking Bad” on Netflix and initially read “I have a chocolate lab named Mocha” as “I have a meth lab for chocolate.”

Menopause and insomnia have stolen my brain this morning.

    Isn’t it awesome?
    Yes, everything becomes about meth.
Buying cold medicine? Think meth! : )
