Beach Photos

I’m having a crazy, overbooked, week.

Why did I think it would be a good idea to try and squeeze forty bazillion catch-up-from-traveling appointments into one week?

Anyway, while I’m running all over The OC,

I’ll share a few recent beach photos.

The first is from Laguna Beach ….

I’ve purposely been spending “less than normal” time in Laguna this summer.

I’m a beach snob.  I try to avoid tourist season.

Once Labor Day is behind us, I’m sure I’ll be spending a lot more time in Laguna again.

(It really is my favorite local beach city to shoot.)

The next shot is from the boardwalk in Newport Beach ….

I love beach bikes.

They remind me of college in Santa Barbara.

I might need to take my beach cruiser to Newport just so I can ride it along the boardwalk.

I love how people park their bikes on the sand while they cool off by frolicking in the ocean.

Many of us in Southern California are very loyal to Rainbow “flip-flops.”

It’s almost a badge of honor to see who is wearing the most “worn out” pair.

I recently chatted with a guitar player at an outdoor restaurant here In South OC.

I think he was a little surprised when I started shooting his feet instead of his guitar.

But hey,

A picture’s worth a thousand words, right?

      Thank you.
Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who understands a particular photo.
(I should have known you’d “get it” too, Jan!)

The Reef Fanning flip flop is pretty good. It gives arch support and isn’t slippery when wet.

I have some Reef’s I wear when my feet are getting wet. They’re great. I don’t remember what “model” mine are though. Rainbow’s aren’t made for water, but they do wear in to be very comfortable for daily non-wet walking!
