Weekend Wrap-Up

Just call me Unproductive.

I had a zillion things I thought I’d be doing over the weekend.

Very little, however, actually got done.

I suppose it’s for the best.

After all, I was supposed to be taking life a little slower.

I did go for a walk each day.

Both days, I went to The Torturer’s Park.

Of course, it isn’t really *his* park, but he’s the one who told me about it.

Therefore, I will always think of it as The Torturer’s Park.

(Because that’s how my brain works.)

On Saturday, I took a few shots with my new, tiny, Sony (available at B&H or Amazon).

Taken with Sony RX1R:  Click on photo to purchase, or view larger, in 24atHeart gallery.

I like the camera.

I do.

I’m still getting familiar with it.

When I use it right, it does a great job.

(As seen in the above photo – excellent shot, if I do say so myself!)

But, there’s no changing my love affair with my Canon lenses.

Taken with Canon 5D, Mark III:  Click on photo to purchase, or view larger, in 24atHeart gallery.

In the above photo, you can see the coastal fog hanging over the ocean.

Little bits of fog would occasionally float up the hill in beautiful, puffy, wisps.

Like white smoke.

I probably have some photos of wispy fog, somewhere in my “pile” of photos.

Mocha went walking with me.

She loves to go shooting with me.

She runs to me the minute she sees me pick up my camera.

But, to be honest, she isn’t the most helpful photography partner.

She gets distracted easily by rabbits, birds, people, and other dogs.

I’m sure she has the best of intentions, but ….

You can see, she has a guilty look on her face even hours after being sidetracked by a wandering squirrel.
