Change Is The Only Constant In Life

I’m sure many of you downloaded iOS 7 yesterday.

(Apple’s operating system for iPhones and iPads and iPods.)

I didn’t have any trouble with the download.

Post-download, my iPhone is working fine – great, in fact.

I was a little lost at first though.

“Where did they put the BLEH button?” I muttered (out loud and to myself), repeatedly.

It didn’t take long, and I now know how to work my phone again.

I think.

I’ll update my iPod this weekend.

How about you?

Have you updated your Apple products to iOS 7 yet?

And if so,

Are you feeling good about the changes?

Download went fine. Shock to see the new screen! Getting used to it though.

I was shocked too, but the more I use it the more I like it.

I don’t “do” Apple products, out of principle. I own an Android smart phone and a Kindle HD tablet, and I triple-puffy-glitter heart both of them.

Beloved has an iPad, and I don’t think he’s upgraded the OS yet. I hope he tells me beforehand when he does, so I can make myself scarce – he’s not exactly the most patient person on the planet. Ahem.

      What principle?
      (That’s not sarcastic, that’s curious ….)

The upgrade itself for iOS 7 shouldn’t be tough for Beloved.
It does take a couple uses to figure out what’s changed and where it is – but it doesn’t take long.

I upgraded both my phone and iPad and at first I really didn’t like it at all. However, after only one day I think I really love it. It looks so *fresh*, and some of the new functionality is really great (photo organization and the control center for quickly adjusting brightness, airplane mode, bluetooth, flashlight, etc.).

      That’s how I felt.
It seemed strange at first, but I quickly got used to it.
      Now, I really like it.

I don’t like how big things are on the main page and I had to google to figure out how to close apps but otherwise it is fine. I found it interesting that some of my photos have inaccurate location information, since I’d never checked before. I’m not sure how that happened.

    I like the photo organization.
