The Stockyards Rodeo

I got back to Orange County last night.

I had a great trip.

It was so good for my mom-heart to see (and hug) my son a zillion times.

I spoiled him with yummy meals out.

I got to meet many of his new college buddies.

We did a lot of fun things – all crammed into a few quick days.

I’ll have more about my trip once I have a chance to get some sleep unpacked.

I thought I’d share two photos I took at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo last weekend.

(I haven’t had time to look at most of my photos yet.  But, I wanted to share a quick peek.)

The bulls at the rodeo were massive.

Are bulls bigger in Texas?

It sure seemed like it.

Here’s my California beach girl take on a Texas rodeo:

Bulls seem like very angry animals.

California bulls probably have to go to therapy and learn to be mellow.

(I can’t imagine any creature being allowed all that anger in California!)

Texas bulls are really pissed off.

I’ll have more about my trip tomorrow ….

Maybe they are angry because they’re not in CA. I would be if I were them. Awesome photos. So up close and personal!

Maybe there’s more growing in a Californian meadow than we think.

    Great action photos
