Thrilling Thursday

I want to thank everyone for giving me opinions on their favorite sunset photo.

For those of you who missed Tuesday’s post,

I published five sunset photos and asked readers which one they liked best.

As of *this very minute* the following two photos are tied as reader favorites:

It has occurred to me I ought to have you help me come up with photo titles.

I’m constantly in need of titles.

I bet you could come up with some very (!!) creative ones.

(Maybe we’ll do that sometime soon …?)

Yesterday was an entirely BLEH day.

I had to do things no human should have to do.

(Like have my teeth cleaned!  And hide from Peeping Painters!  And work on software issues, and ….!)

BLEH!

Anyway, today I’m flying to Texas.

I’m pretty sure my son has adjusted quite well to college life since he seems to be too busy to ever call home.

I understand, of course.

(After all, he’s  studying really hard  at a school with a very high ratio of females vs. males.)

I imagine the next few days will be hectic, but I’m looking forward to it.

I’ve always liked Texas,

As I visit more frequently, I find myself enjoying the state even more.

I’ll try to post a photo or two when I get a little down time at the hotel …!

I don’t know if it’s a male/female thing, and there are other factors, but my niece went away to college a few weeks ago and has called her parents *every day*. She’s having a tougher time adjusting, partially because she doesn’t feel challenged enough in her classes.

Every kid seems to be different …
At least, every one of MY kids has been very different.
I think girls tend to call home more, in general.
But, again, there are a lot of factors involved.
