Valentine’s Day 2014

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I took the above photo a few days ago in Newport Beach.

It’s been summer-ish here lately.

I had to force myself NOT to turn the a/c on yesterday when temps inside my house hit 82F.

I have at least two dozen hummingbirds hanging out in my backyard at any given moment.

They must think it’s spring?

We have hummingbirds year round here, but I don’t usually have THAT many this soon.

I can’t imagine how many I’ll have once their babies start hatching.

(It’s ridiculous.  My house seems to be the hummingbird capitol of the western U.S??  They’re going through two large feeders per day.)

I want to celebrate Valentine’s Day (evening) by binge-watching as many episodes of House of Cards as I can squeeze in.

Aren’t I a romantic?

I just watched the entire season last month and am soooo in love with this show. I can’t decide if I should watch episode by episode or binge watch a few at a time. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are the most evil couple eva!!!

Wouldn’t a tummy tuck push the stem cell thing for pain back? If you get a tuck in your situation, then I think I will get a facelift and do something permanent about my hair in the near future. Your decision might help me and other blog readers to figure out how to set realistic priorities, and I mean importance based on real life, not theory.

    Happy Valentine’s Day!

This is a good question and one I’ve thought a lot about Erica.
In fact, probably other readers are wondering too.
I should probably write a post about it.

I have heard very mixed reviews on the stem cell thing.
I’m not sure if I want to spend that much money on something that may not work at all.
But …? I haven’t ruled it out. I’ve thought about waiting a year or two, but there are a lot of reasons behind that. (Coming to a post sometime soon.)

You are so pretty, I can’t imagine you ever needing anything done.
(Based on all your recent FB photos!)

I am still not decided on the tummy tuck. I went to the consultation seeking information. It is a major surgery though, so if I do decide to do it I don’t want to wait too long. Surgeries only get harder the older you get.

My tummy doesn’t really affect my mobility … it does, however, affect how I feel about myself. I won’t even let my own husband see me undress. So, there’s that …..

I am not being serious. I am just being empathetic towards the Barbies. Get rid of the pouch if you can. I am sure it affects your mobility.
