Moonrise Of The Blood Moon

Did you see the blood moon last night?

I never tire of the moonrises over “my” mountain.

I can see the moon rise from my kitchen and family room windows.

But, I went out on the patio to take this photo.

I’m a beach-rat through and through, but the mountains call to my soul in a special way.

There really is something almost mystical about them.

I’m truly grateful I live in a place where I can enjoy both the mountains and the beach.

(And the deserts too, actually.)

    That is just lovely.

The blood moon didn’t show up here until 3:30 a.m., and while I was up (due to circumstances that were completely within my control – and a result of extreme stupidity), it was cloudy and raining, so I saw zip.

Lucky us – the rain turned into snow about the time we came into the office this morning. *sigh*

I’m so sorry you’re getting more snow.
It has been a crazy winter for all my “eastern” friends ….

The clouds made the moon look odd and mysteriously blue here in Ohio. I liked it. Love your view in California too.
