The Latest And Greatest

I’ve been very busy.

I’m on a gardening kick even though, technically, I can’t garden due to my bum arm.

I went to the nursery again yesterday.

It’s a bit of a drive because I live in the middle of nowhere.

I have a lot of empty garden pots that need filling.

After I buy flowers I try to coerce my son to plant them for me.

Isn’t that clever?

For some reason my arm is absolutely killing me even though I’m delegating the largest portion of the arm-related work.

(My neck is freaking out too – have I ever told you how fun it is to be me?)

Yesterday I purchased a few geraniums, more salvia, and a dahlia plant I may have (???) already killed.

I know how to have a good time?

I also bought a few impatiens for a shady area I need to take care of.

I’ll take a few photos once I get everything planted … if it doesn’t die in the first few hours.

Which it might.

I also seem to have forgotten how much more work there is with a teen in the house.

I feel like I’m running to the grocery store every single day – because I am.

Boys sure eat a lot.

In addition, I’ve decided it’s time to inventory and reassess my camera gear.

I have some equipment I never, or rarely, use anymore.

I will sell it (hopefully soon) and use the funds to purchase products which are more in line with how I shoot now.

Here’s another photo of the peonies I currently have in my kitchen.

I love peonies.

They don’t grow here which makes them even more special and exciting, I suppose.

(I bought mine at Trader Joe’s for six dollars!)

I smile every time I see them.

They’re just so big and  (??)  fluffy?
