How is it possible November is nearly over?

It’s going to take me another day or two to get everything caught up from my Texas trip.

And?

Thanksgiving is next Thursday.

Aack!

(And, no, I haven’t given Christmas a passing thought yet.)

Remind me next year not to take on an out of state photo project right before the holidays.

I’m seeing Paul Newman today and I can’t wait because my arm is BAD.

Also, all the cooking for Thanksgiving always pushes me over the edge pain-wise ….

I really, really, really, need “my” Paul Newman a lot this time of year.

Being in cold weather (and seeing snow!) put me in a holiday mood.

I wish we would get some cold, stormy, weather here in Orange County.

I’m looking forward to having my family around next week.

This year will be a little tough though because it’s the first year one of my kids will NOT be here for the holidays.

My oldest son has been assigned to a project that will prohibit him from cross country travel for a couple months.

So, as much as I look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas,

My heart is also sad we will have our first year without the entire family together.

I guess that’s bound to happen as kids grow-up?

I can certainly commiserate with part of the family being missing for the holidays. My son is a firefighter in Pebble Beach and he occasionally is on duty during the holidays. It just isn’t the same without him around. AND to make matters even worse, this year my daughter and her family will be in Disneyland for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. When I say her family I am including my grandbabies. 🙁

      Oh, I’m sorry.
It’s too bad we can’t all have our families with us.

Pay off your whole card balance every month if you can. You should view credit cards as a convenience form of payment, and budget the full payoff each month. Avoid finance charges by paying the balance in full and improve your credit rating at the same time.
