Although I DID make it through the 100 Things list (with much trepidation, you can check it out at http://alntv.wordpress.com/my-100/), here is 1 more fact about me that ISN'T on that list...I wanted to be a radio disk jockey when I was in high school and college and worked part-time at 3 local stations before giving it up (thankfully).

DebraAbby

I once fell into a canal in Venice...
woo hoo.
Debra

KH

I'm concerned about the quotation marks in number 24....

Anyway, my fact is I've been to 5 of the 7 continents. (I love to travel.)

EricaB

Okay, random fact...

I have never been on an airplane. Never had any need. Not scared (okay, now that it has been nearly 30 years I AM scared...a little). Just no need to fly. Maybe by the end of the year....

And I will be posting a blog about your contest momentarily.

Renee

First I would like to say I have so
many facts like you it's scary, except the millionaire in college thing, Also I think I will start an
anonymous blog (I don't want anyone to know it's me).
My fact is I am 43 and I really really want a tattoo. Corny isn't it.

Jan

Holy shit, woman - we ARE related!

I, too, prefer most men to most women and do not relate well to "girly girls."

I, too, prefer Chinese and Mexican to Italian.

I, too, wore a D-cup in the 6th grade.

Beloved's family doesn't like me either.

Want to spend hours in a bookstore? I'm right there with you.

My grandfather was an upstanding citizen, but not a very nice one.

I just love you to death - you know that, don't you?

Lori

First of all, I must say that most of the 50 things you listed about yourself, I could have written about myself. Great list by the way! So I tried to go to read your list of 100 things but it wouldn't let me.

A random thing about me. I love vampire movies.

jo

Fact: I'm an adrenaline junkie.
Another fact: I had a roommate in college who is a multi-millionaire who lives in Orange County :}. Hee, hee.
Just one more: I'm a tom-boy who likes getting dirty and sweating and doing boy things (I'm with you on the girly-girl thing). My favorite job was working outdoors, building trails and rock walls....and how did I end up in healthcare, sitting in a sterile office all day wearing a skirt and big girl shoes?

Maura

I had to have tongue surgery when I was in highschool becuase the webbing underneath my tongue was too big and whenever I swallowed my tongue pushed agianst my two front teeth and was causing them to seperate. The actualy technical name for me was a "tongue thruster"

Ry

Fun contest! Congrats on 100 posts!

I was once nude on the cover of a magazine....when I was 2.

Judi

I didn't have a multi-millionare roommate, but I did briefly date a guy in college whose Mom was a multi-millionaire socialite in OC and was on the cover of Orange County Magazine.

And I'm the youngest of 7 kids.

Missy

I was an honor student is high school and could barely maintain a C average in college - way too much partying and too many boys. Obviously I attended an all girls school and didn't date till college.

dpsunshine

It was a lot of fun reading your fifty random facts! Two about me. . .

1) I can stick out my tongue and touch my nose with it

2) My grandmother was raised by nuns

KLB

I don't like my in-laws, but not even my husband knows.

Momo Fali

My random fact is that you and I are very much alike!

(And, #43 made me laugh out loud.)

Congrats on 100!!!

Karen in DE

I hyperventilate if I have to speak in front of a gatering of people. I know, lame.

Sharon

I can sleep all night with a crumpled kleenex in my hand and not drop it (allergies)

Miz Liz

I dodged a DUI in college while idling at a traffic light. Cop stopped to tell me my lights were off. I thanked him and proceeded to drive home. 7- 7&7s. Mea Culpa!

I got a tattoo on Yom Kippur last year. I'm going to hell for sure. Wait, Jews don't believe in hell, right?

Kim in Alaska

I will not buy my tampons, I'm too shy. I make my husband do it.

Bev

Woohoo!! Congrats on the 100th post!! You are off and running, my friend.

I just sat and shook my head "yes" at most of your facts because a lot of them are akin to mine. Spooky!! hehehe

My factoid: I used to be a leather and doo-rag wearing, card carrying Harley Momma. I love me some Harleys!

Joanne

in high school I tried drinking cough syrup, (LIKE EVERYONE ELSE) but out of all the girls who drank it that day.... I was alergic to the codiene, and got busted because I was puking up pink stuff like a Hawian Punch fountain. Not only did I get in A LOT of trouble, my partners in crime thought it was hysterically funny

Kelly

I used to sneak out of my house all of the time to meet my boyfriend. My parents never found out.

Angela

First off....I found you from your comment on Dooce.

My random fact: I have a small freckle on the right side of my top lip. People tell me all the time that I have something on my mouth, and I say "No, I don't. It's a freckle."

Also, I will put a link to your post on my blog. I hope I win!! :)

Melissa

I competed in the Olympic trials, but didn't make it.

Chase

I thought I was going to be a pro athlete. Now I'm a truck driver.

Miz Liz

Looks like you got me and Sharon mixed up. I don't mind buying tampons and I don't have a husband. But I did almost get a DUI and have a tattoo!

alntv

Just curious...am I the only GUY who reads your post? LOL

Amamsniknup

i was a mascot in highschool. a colt. it was stinky inside that damn colt head. but i enjoyed the freedome of being something/one other than me, since i was shy, porky, and not very popular.

lmc310

AlnTv sent me to this blog, I read his almost every day. I don't always agree with what he says, but most of the time it's somewhat interesting.

A random fact about me... I was a model in 11th grade and appeared in a hair magazine. My 15 minutes of fame!

Lynn K.

I had to have my mouth wired shut for 6 weeks, over Christmas, after jaw surgery. I had just graduated high school earlier that year.

Way to go on post #100! And I enjoyed reading your list. I don't think I would even have 50 things to write about myself.

Janie

I use to date a billionaire and I'm the one that ended the relationship. That wasn't the world I wanted to spend the rest of my life in.

I'll be linking to your blog and I'm going to do that right now.
Congratulations on your 100th post!

Kimberly

Congratulations on 100!!!
100 things on my 100th post. I am waiting for my hundreth with anticipation because one random thing about me is I LOVE to make lists.

I'm also intrigued about the gangster thing. I think you should post some stories.

Jason

I once ate dog. I didn't know it was dog until AFTER I was done and they told me. Then I realized their pet dog was nowhere to be found.

FIFTY DOLLARS? Wow.

uncommonblonde

Random fact - I think skydiving was the coolest experience I've ever had. Nothing like thinking you might die to get the adrenaline going! (p.s. I found your blog through your comment on Mrs. Fussypants)

Joanna

Random fact about myself: I was born without hip sockets and they grew in when I was 18 months. My parents were told I'd have 50/50 chance of them ever growing in.

amy

random facts about me:

1. I too can touch my nose with my tongue. so can my 8 year old daughter (it's genetic).

2. I'm 5'11 (& a girl), don't hate it but don't love it. I don't want my daughter to be over 5'8 because i think the pool of men who would want to date her would drastically shrink. at least in my experience (but i did get married at 22 to my boyfriend who i met at 19) most men don't want to date girls taller than them.

Shamelessly Sassy

If any portion of my clothing becomes wet, I must change it immediately.

Shannon River

Heh. A lot of these I can relate to myself. My OUT-laws and I do not mix. It's horrible added stress.

Rachie

i make to do lists every morning but almost always forget to actually do the chores

fjl21

I was named after my grandfather, so I named my son after my dad. Oh, and Alan linked me here. Congrats on the 100 post!!!

bunny

Like you, I love Mexican food! I should add Thai cuisine to my list as well :) YUMMY!!!

bunny

I've linked my direct blog post too! Thanks! :)

hope

Congrats on the 100th post! A random fact about me is that I can't stand being unorganized. :)

Laura

I am a good swimmer but I don't like being in the water and I hate getting my face wet

Nothing Fancy

That loud gum chewing drives me bonkers too!

Pam

Congratulations on your 100th! I'm a blog lurker and this is the first time I have ever commented on ANYONE's blog. Congratulations to me on my first!

Jenn in IL

Hey there! Found you through your comment on UD's website. You're fantastically funny!! And congrats on the 100th post!

My random fact is: I'm a huge texture freak when it comes to food. Weirdly enough, I LOVE cottage cheese but HATE everything else with weird texture. Examples? Applesauce, tomatoes, strawberries (I can feel the seeds), oranges or any other stringy citrus fruit - this also applies to fresh squeezed orange juice and lemonade, chunky peanut butter, yogurt with fruit in it, oatmeal, etc...

Mr. B

I have 2

1) I am very hard to get together with to share conversation and yogurt.

2) I spend way too much time watching Red Sox baseball games!

TinaJewel

Loved reading about you! I never used lotion and couldn't stand it until after my hysterectomy surgery! Now I need it!

Lori D

I could easily be a vegetarian if it weren't for cheeseburgers. I could even forego steak, but I can't give up cheeseburgers.
